Santa 2016
A gift for those in search of the best blend of the month: Yecla’s own Monastrell plus the grape that has the only red must in its pulp: a red Garnacha a la Teinturier (that’s how these colored grapes are called) that gives flowers, fruit and color. This is a wine that delivers all the elegance and softness of ripe red fruit with a good compensation of acidity and freshness. A wine that goes through both French and American barrels and that is perfect to continue expanding our wine knowledge about a D.O. like Yecla, which still has a lot to teach us.
Tasting notes
Cherry red color. With elegant and intense notes of very ripe red and black berries on a smoky background and sweet spices. On the palate, it envelops the sensation of juicy fruit. The structure is good, the acidity is well present. The tannins are sweet and elegant. Rich and long finish on the palate.
